Information we collect
Evolium collects information you choose to provide through the assessment and newsletter forms, including contact details, company context, an operational problem, language, audience preference, consent, and confirmation status. The site also receives request metadata needed to deliver and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to evaluate requests, respond, manage confirmed newsletter subscriptions, operate and secure the site, understand aggregate performance, and improve Evolium services. Evolium does not sell submitted information.
Webinar registration
When you register for an Evolium webinar, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your university or company, how you participate, and a question for the speakers, together with your consent, the time of registration, and campaign attribution (such as UTM parameters and the referring site). We use this information only to manage your registration, send the confirmation and access link, and organize that event. The access link is sent only by email and is not published on the website.
Webinar real business challenge
Businesses. When a business submits a challenge, we collect the business name, the contact person's name and work email, an optional phone number, the description of the challenge, the public-presentation preference, and consent. We use it to evaluate the challenge, select finalists, and contact the business. Only text the business approves is shown publicly, and only if the challenge is a finalist. The form asks businesses not to include passwords, credentials, customer personal data, regulated information, or confidential documents.
Students. When voting, we collect full name, UEES student ID, institutional email, degree or program, expected graduation date, gender, age, the chosen challenge, the written statement of interest, and consent. We use this to enforce one vote per student, count votes, contact students who voted for the winning challenge, and select the participating team, primarily based on the written statement. Gender and age are used only for aggregate statistics and do not influence selection. Selection is made by people at Evolium; it is not automated. We do not publish partial results, names, student IDs, or demographics, and names of selected students are published only with their permission.
Retention. Votes and data of students who are not on the selected team are deleted no later than 90 days after the winning challenge is announced. Submissions from businesses that are not selected are deleted no later than 12 months after the webinar. Data about the selected team and the participating business is kept for the duration of the challenge and up to 12 months afterward.
Service providers
Vercel provides hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring. Resend provides transactional email and newsletter contact management. Google Workspace, administered by Evolium, stores webinar registrations and challenge data in a private sheet with no public access. They process information only as needed to provide those services.
Newsletter choices
A subscription requires email confirmation. Every newsletter will provide an unsubscribe mechanism. An unconfirmed request expires and is not added to the active audience.
Retention and protection
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, or disputes. Evolium applies reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Use the assessment form and identify the request as a privacy request.
